Even though the cave is our main focus, there is plenty of other things you can do here!
In the surrounding area, there are beautiful walking paths, bike trails, the forest park, a barbecue area down by the seaside and the geological nature trail above the cave system.
After adventures inside of the cave, you are more than welcome to visit the shop and café. Or why not start there?

Welcome to Bruket Café!

Here, you can sit back and relax with a lunch or fika. Gaze out at the sea and feel the tranquility of our garden, or enjoy a cozy hangout just outside the entrance. Of course, there are indoor seating options in the renovated barn, which dates back to the 1800s.

At Bruket Café, we serve homemade lunch dishes, sandwiches, salads, waffles, saffranspannkaka, and freshly baked fika. Hot and cold drinks, as well as beer and wine, are available.

The forest park

Follow the path of the water towards the sea through the beautiful industrial park. Here, you’ll find unique vegetation in a lush oasis. In spring and early summer, the park is filled with the scent of wild garlic. Feel free to pick some if you’d like!

During the autumn months, the sea trout swim upstream to spawn. It’s a powerful sight to behold, but please remember to keep your distance and not disturb the fish. Fishing is prohibited!

Geological nature trail

Want to know more about the limestone mountain and how the cave was created? Just beside the exit tunnel of the cave, you will find the start of a geological nature trail established by the County Administrative Board
You will walk up the cliff, directly above the cave system.

Along the path there are informational signs which describe what is around you, including lots of things you would otherwise not notice. Learn more about dolines, dikes, beach caves and karst caves.
The path ends outside of the natural cave mouth.
The geological nature trail is about 1km long and takes 20-30 minutes to walk. Stairs are present.

Pokémon Go

The forest park is one of the best locations on Gotland to find plenty of Pokémon, PokéStops and PokéGyms in the same area! Enjoy the wonderful environment in the park or walk along the nature trail while you play and have fun! Suitable for all ages.
